  Media Communication Skills Training
The general public is often fascinated by the ability of broadcasters, news anchors, reporters and other members of the media to appear polished and relaxed when in front of the camera or behind a microphone. Those in the media who provide the public with information on current events, sports or entertainment often have exceptional communication skills, more so than the average person. Yet, what may appear easy is often a very difficult job. The ability to communicate clearly and effectively without missing a beat is a valuable skill - one that is highly sought after in the broadcast media industry. These communication skills are quite rare but members of the media can take steps via training and coaching to hone their communication skills. Our Media Communication Skills Training class is a highly interactive training workshop designed to teach members of the media effective communication skills that can be used when informing, influencing or interviewing in the television and broadcast media world.

Members of the media must have the skills and ability to appear poised, polished and credible when communicating during a live broadcast or a pre-recorded program. Regardless of whether a correspondent is reporting live from the scene of an accident or narrating a special interest piece on a local charity, effective communication skills are required to connect with an audience and report information accurately. The Media Communication Skills Training workshop is the most comprehensive training seminar in the industry focused on providing members of the media with the tools and skills required to excel in their profession. Everything from how to maintain the flow and natural conversation of an interview to ways to keep in control when reporting from a crisis situation are covered in our training modules. During this training workshop, participants will practice skills via various interactive exercises and training activities. Videotaped role playing and coaching are utilized to practice training skills and provide individual feedback from a training instructor. Time is also spent working on communication training modules, group exercises, question and answer sessions and activities. All skills taught in the Media Communication Skills Training class are modeled by our senior team of training instructors.
